Lauren Cox is a designer and photographer currently based outside of Buffalo, NY. Born in Southern California and raised in Western New York, Lauren’s experiences across the American landscape have informed her perspectives and her artistic practice.

Lauren is currently completing her BFA in Graphic Design at SUNY Buffalo State College and will graduate in May 2021. In her time as a student, Lauren has received honors including the Dr. Margaret E. Bacon Best of Studio Award for Graphic Design and the Hyatt’s Award for Excellence. Her work has been shown at an Art and Design Department student exhibition as well as those put on by the college’s Visual Arts Board. She organized and showed her first solo exhibition, “C’est la Mort,” in November 2020.
